Pick up at Port Canaveral

We will be making a call at Port Canaveral and have friends who live nearby who we want to meet up with. They plan to pick us up at the pier. Can they drive in or will we need to exit the pier and met them somewhere. Any help will be appreciated.

They can drive in. If you find you are at Terminal 1, I suggest you walk the short distance to a restaurant next to the cruise terminal called Grills. Very easy to drive in and pick you up there. Also good food.:)
