rsaladin Posted July 13, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 13, 2018 I’ve read several threads on here about those of you who have successfully used Ebates to earn cash back on your cruises. My question is does the cruise have to be paid in full at the time of booking to earn the max amount of cash back? Or is the cash back just based on the value of the cruise and you can pay it off by final payment but still receive full cash back value?
LotusLane Posted July 22, 2018 #2 Share Posted July 22, 2018 One year we booked our cruise through travelocity using Ebates and didn't get the cash back until after the cruise was completed. Sent from my SM-G960U using Tapatalk
bookgirl98 Posted August 10, 2018 #3 Share Posted August 10, 2018 Usually you get the money back after you have completed your stay. This goes for hotels too Sent from my SM-N950U using Forums mobile app
winterinvirginia Posted March 2, 2019 #4 Share Posted March 2, 2019 I've booked through Expedia once and used Ebates but the credit never came. It was supposed to be like 10% of cruise fare. Months after the cruise, I e-mailed Ebates several times but never once received any response. Eventually I gave up and moved on.
ashleyhaugh Posted March 21, 2019 #5 Share Posted March 21, 2019 I booked through Ebates and expedia (cruise was dec 2016, can't remember how long before we booked it, but I think I paid it off at tax time). They said I wouldn't get the cash back til after the cruise, (it was 10%!), but I got it back after the cruise was paid in full, well before we sailed. There wasn't an issue with making payments

sds Posted April 28, 2019 #7 Share Posted April 28, 2019 Typically they remit payment post cruise which was the scenario the last 3 that I booked through them. The usual time frame is 3 months post cruise. My advice is to keep all information about booking and a copy of reservation so if they don't automatically send it to you can submit it. I had it happen once before sent them the documents they sent me my check a couple weeks later very easy process.
Getmeouttaher Posted April 28, 2019 #8 Share Posted April 28, 2019 I just noticed my rebate from Priceline has already come through, two weeks after booking. I paid in full but my cruise is not until end of May.
