Anyone know of a Piraeus port webcam? I couldn't find one. Alternatively, maybe one of the ships that will be there has a bridgecam. Any info/help appreciated. MattInFLL Posted July 8, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 8, 2004 My brother works in Athens, and I was there in June... my parents come back tomorrow, and in speaking with them today, as of July 1, the country basically started a lock down. My brother and his wife live in Rafina, which is a port town on the other side of the Athens peninsula... it's a small, quaint town with ferries to the islands... as of last week, there are now lots of armed guards with heavy firearms walking the streets.. my sister in law says the place looks like a police state now.. and that's 20 miles outside of athens... so you can imagine what it's like in the middle of the city and near the major events.
