La Quinta Airport East

Has anyone stayed at this hotel recently? I understand there was damage from the hurricane. How extensive is the damage? Any idea when it will be back to full service?

We stayed there on Sunday 10/15/17.

There were some rooms blocked off on third floor. They had a floor blower assumed to be drying out the hallway carpet. It was loud but not enough to keep us awake.

Our room AC was set to minimum 65* but room temperature stayed at 80-82*. It was hot but not OMG hot.

We needed the shuttle to get from the hotel to the Port of Miami the next morning so we sucked it up.

The next morning after breakfast, we casually mentioned it to them and they charged us only half of the bill!

BTW The shuttle bus operator offers transportation from the cruise terminal to the MIA post cruis for only $10 per person. I think they are called Miami Tours.
