Sea and See Excursion or walk and snorkel?

We will be in Curacao on the Celebrity Equinox and one of the excursions available is a semi submarine that takes a tour on land and water. It is $60 per person, and I am wondering if I am better off just skipping the excursion and walking around without a guide...then just snorkeling when it gets hot. This is our first time here, so any recommendations on what to do?

Did you go on this tour? I've been looking at it through RCL. my husband doesn't swim well and thought it would be good for us.

I have actually not yet gone on my cruise. It's not until May. However, I found a different excursion for Curacao. I am doing the Irie Tours All West Beach Hopping Tour. That one is obviously more about the beaches, but I believe they have an East Tour that goes to the distillery and around the town. It may be something to look at.
