Exact change for the jitney buses

Does that mean, I need exact change because they will not give me any money back OR I must use exact coins for each person?

Traveling with family of four so exact change is 6 dollars (4 x 1.50). Easier to carry as 5 and 1 :)

Searched before posting and couldn’t find the answer. Searched after asking and low and behold - the answer. I can use a 5. It is apparently 1.25 pp (my mistake).

There are no meters in a jitney so no need for change per person.

Handing the driver 6$ is fine. US or BAH $ are interchangeable.

Most drivers do not like to give change.
