Jamaymay74 Posted March 15, 2018 #1 Share Posted March 15, 2018 Hi all! First time posting. Our up coming cruise will be our fifth. It is our favorite way to vacation and plan to take many, many more. Hawaii hopefully next year. We would like to take the kids (15&16 boys) for a beach day while in Nassau. We will be docked 8-5. The excursion through the boat is 8:30-1:30. We would prefer to go closer to 10:00-3:00. Has anyone done Blue Lagoon Island on their own? Or another comparable beach? Thanks! Jimmie You can't do Blue Lagoon on your own. It's a privately owned island. You can try to book directly with them at http://www.dolphinencounters.com BUT, they usually do not take reservations from cruisers. They have an agreement to allow bookings only thru the cruiseship
Keekski Posted March 22, 2018 #3 Share Posted March 22, 2018 I am thinking of just going to Western Esplande Beach, which looks to be about a mile from port.

pands Posted March 27, 2018 #6 Share Posted March 27, 2018 Depending on how much you want to spend, the Sandy Toes excursion to Rose Island would work with your time frame. We've done this a couple of times and have had a blast. https://www.sandytoesbahamas.com
