Debark Time in Miami from Empress of the Seas

Aloha, we are cruising to Cuba, Oct 11, 2018 on the Empress. It is scheduled to port at 7am. My flight from Miami to Maui, via LAX, departs at 9:30 am. If I leave on a later flight it will require a night on the mainland before I return home.

Is it likely that we will be off the ship at 7am (or earlier)? Most cruises I've been on in the past had us on the dock before 7am if we needed to catch a flight. First cruise with RCCL.

Thanks in advance!

7:30 is about the earliest you'll walk off. Even if the ship is early, the immigration folks are unlikely to be.

Is it likely that we can make it to the airport in time for a 9:30 flight if we are among the first off of the ship?
