Breeze Delay Jan 15th

Unless I missed it, I never saw anything about the Breeze delay for an entire day this past weekend. They weren't allowed into the port until the very next day due to fog. I've never heard of this. Does Carnival give them some type of assistance with their flights home?

They (Carnival) may provide free internet access or allow them to call their airline for free to allow them to change their flights, but outside of that I do not believe they are under any obligation to provide any additional assistance to passengers delayed by fog. Trip insurance may cover this depending on what type of policy is purchased.

Gotcha! And that makes sense. I honestly had never heard of having to extend an entire extra day!!!! I will be purchasing insurance from now on.

It was under a different thread about a different ship being delayed, I believe the Valor.

There was a thread that talked about it, but started as a discussion to the impacts of the fog to the Valor and the Freedom's schedules as well (they also both lost a day) - see here:
