Storage on The Discoverer

Wondering how much space we are going to have to pack away things on the Discoverer. 28 days is a long time in hot and humid weather where things take forever to dry, which means taking more than I might usually take. And no self-sevice laundry. On the other hand- I'd rather not overstuff the room. Will suitcases go under the bed? We will be in a view suite if that makes a big difference.

Suit cases fit under the bed.

One of the things I love most about expedition cruising is not having to worry about wearing the same things numerous times. After all, we're "roughing it".

Being from FL I can relate to the nasty feeling of muggy weather clothing! FYI, there is laundry (no self serve) on board. But NO dry cleaning available. Keep this in mind when packing. I did not know this ahead of time, that put a crimp (pun?) in my wardrobe. :)

Yes- you do know the feeling. And things do not dry quickly, even in airconditioning. I can do without dry cleaning but the cost of laundry could add up quickly since the prices are not cheap. We'll figure out something.
