Social Media Package and FC/Instagram Apps plus Norwegian Spirit Wi-Fi experience

A couple of questions:

1 - Social Media package: does the package allows you to directly open the Facebook & Instagram Apps or they have to be open thru their websites (facebook.com, etc.)? The phone apps are so much easier to open, view, post, etc. than their www websites.

2. Norwegian Spirit WIFI: any one can report back from Norwegian Spirit WIFI, is it available through the ship with no problem? Wanting to know if the Wi-Fi on Spirit is accessible from anywhere in the ship or just on certain specific areas/decks only.

Can't answer about the Spirit, but yes I used the Apps with the Social Media WiFi Package in July on the Escape.
