Greetings

We still debating if we take a Royal Suite on the Infinity. Our mayor concern is the balcony, we don't want to fill like a fish in a bowl. If anyone has stayed recently in any of this Royal Suites on the Infinity and please can advise if the balcony are cover completely by canvas as they are in the Summit and Constellation.

Any pictures ,video or input will be highly appreciated .

Thanks a lot!

From older pics I've seen, looks like RS balcony is only half covered depth for privacy from above, no extra canvas overhead screens. Try Youtube.com keyword search for "Royal Suite balcony Infinity"

Good Luck

You are correct, unlike Constellation the RS balconies on Infinity are not fully covered. We had the unfortunate situation of meeting some overbearing people before we boarded to discover that they were in the stateroom immediately above us. Whilst not antisocial, you can find that you are a magnet for some people in the upper level suites and we found ourselves spending the cruise trying to sneak out onto our balcony with our backs to the wall whilst we edged to the covered section.

I am sure that it would have been fine with someone else above us. We were just unlucky. The great majority of people we have met on cruises are wonderful and we made some good friends on that cruise. As the other poster mentioned, much of the PH balcony is uncovered yet we have never felt "on show" in the same way.

We were in 6133 on the Infinity a few weeks ago. The canopy covered the hot tub area and the two chaise lounges and approx half of the balcony. The other half of the balcony where the table and 4 chairs were, was uncovered. Overall the suite was in fine condition and perfect location to aft elevators.
