Transportation to the end of the pier??

I understand the walk from the ship to the end of the pier is quite long, can anyone recall seeing some type of transportation to take?

As soon as you get off the ship there is a taxi stand to the right. Not far at all. Not sure of pricing though. The walk to downtown really is not that bad. A couple places to take a break in the shade along the way.

I have read about walking across a bridge, is this before the taxi stand?

You will walk over the floating bridge after you walk past the taxi stand and through the first area with shops. When you exit that area you will be walking along the water. There will be some vendors on your left under tents and you will soon see the floating bridge on your right. Cross the bridge to get to the downtown area. Google Curacao floating bridge and you will find videos. The island is absolutely charming! Enjoy!
