Short Veendam Review 11/11 to 11/18

Long review to follow in the next day or so.

This was our First HAL cruise.

Ship condition: very good, clean.

Hotel staff: very good

Dinning Room Staff: very good

Dinning Room Food: respectable, yet a little bland.

Pinnical Grill staff: disgraseful.

Pinnical Grill Food: go to any Texas Road House and you will get a better steak and better service, except it will only cost $17.95

Nightlife: Must be the crew bar, it not happening anywhere else.

Fellow Passengers: Very old, very sedate.

Entertainment:

House band; Dani and the Halcats, sorry but just awful.

Shows; fair, poorly attendended.

Basic overall Impression:

My wife and I had a wonderful vacation, but not the fantastic vacations that we had on our last 2 Celebrity Cruises. My wife and I are in our late 40's and now feel that HAL is not yet right for us, maybe be in 25 to 30 years.
