bb110390 Posted February 6, 2018 #1 Share Posted February 6, 2018 Hi. Has anyone been to the French side of St Martin recently (after Irma) and if so were any restaurants and resorts open for business? We’re going there in a few months and wonder if it’s worth the trip up there from the cruise port. Also any info on the beaches in Anguilla would be appreciated. Thank you! editor@cruisecritic Posted February 6, 2018 #2 Share Posted February 6, 2018 Hi. I was there in November and St. Martin was pretty badly damaged. There was some strong refurbishing going on in Grand Case, hopefully someone who's been there more recently can weigh in. St. Maarten was in good shape. As much I have always loved the French side, this was a rare trip when I felt that the Dutch side was the better spot for a visit. At least for now. Anguilla? Curious, too. Here's the St. Maarten/St. Martin piece I did in November... https://www.cruisecritic.com/news/news.cfm?ID=8225 Carolyn Carolyn Spencer Brown Chief Content Strategist Cruise Critic
