zqvol Posted September 19, 2018 #2 Share Posted September 19, 2018 You will find that many people simply hold their children. Yes, some will take a car seat, but most don't and even if you have it many vehicles don't have seat belts or any way to secure it in the vehicle. You may try searching or posting in the forums for the specific ports you are visiting under Ports of Call or in the forum for your specific cruise line. This forum does not get as many views. As an observation, I have seen very few car seats used in the Caribbean or Mexico. As noted above, most of the taxis I have been in don’t have seat belts, at least not easily accessible. If the port has an organized taxi stand, such as Cozumel, you can ask the person assigning the cabs to see if any of them have a car seat or at least a way to anchor one. You may also research tour and cab companies online for the ports you are visiting. You can ask about what options they have and book in advance so you know what you are getting.
