DeniseAtBeach Posted June 27, 2018 #1 Share Posted June 27, 2018 Hi all, where NCL does not tender, do they put on free/paid shuttles from the pier/dock to town or is it taxi? Our ports of call are: Kotor (believe you can just walk to town from dock), Corfu, Santorini (tender), Mykonos and Dubrovnik (I believe NCL docks at Gruz Port). We don't mind a bit of a walk, but not a trek before we explore! Thanks in advance for your assistance/input.
Rare Huntingdon1701 Posted June 27, 2018 #2 Share Posted June 27, 2018 There was a paid shuttle at Dubrovnik, dropping you off just outside the walls. I forget the price, but it wasn't much. I'm fairly sure we tendered in Mykonos and you're dropped off in a central part of the town seafront. In Santorini, it's also a tender to the base of the path/cable car up to Fira -no additional transport needed.
hal2008 Posted July 22, 2018 #3 Share Posted July 22, 2018 Dubrovinik shuttle offered by NCL is ridiculously marked up. You can take hassle free taxi for 13 Euro. Bus is only 12 kuna per person but requires local currency. However, bus can get crowded NCL is too cheap to offer any free shuttles anywhere. Rare lepidoptera Posted July 22, 2018 #4 Share Posted July 22, 2018 At Corfu last year there were shuttles from the ship to the port building. But it was short enough that we walked back to the ship rather than wait. We had a slight wait and had to be assertive to get a taxi back to the port in Dubrovnik, and ended up in a shared taxi
