oceaniacruiserri Posted July 20, 2018 #1 Share Posted July 20, 2018 Sorry to ask a weather question but are trying to decide if we will need a jacket for next week (July 23) Halifax to Bermuda. Halifax temp is forecasted to be high 73 low 63. On New England July cruises can you normally enjoy the pool area or is it many times too breezy on the ship? Thanks! On a Mediterranean cruise this spring, I wore a jacket on deck on a sea day when the temperature in port had been 80 degrees. You will usually find it cooler on open sea and when the ship is moving, even if there is little or no breeze. I would certainly take a jacket, but only a light one. I don't remember ever having needed a jacket during the daytime on land in Nova Scotia at this time of year, unless it was raining.
