Celebrity or Princess for PC

Celebrity is a bit more upscale in both food and accommodations; however, I find their pre-cruise customer service absolutely horrible. Their website is a mess and if you email or telephone at least half the time they cannot answer your questions.

By the way, as much as I like Celebrity their website is a trainwreck. Go to another TA to research prices, cabins etc.

The 2 posters above are correct with respect to Celebrity's website. However, your X web experience will not at all be a reflection of your Cruise experience.

Customer Service, ship layout, and overall organization aboard Celebrity are superb - Thankfully!

I did see the Royal princess going from LA to BC with an ON in SAN Francisco, San Diego, Seattle which I wouldn’t mind going to the Boeing factory. Would Royal be more comparable to the Eclipse? How does the O/N work can you come and go as you please?

IMO Princess Royal or Regal are much better than the S class of Celebrity. The biggest downfall to the Royal is the size of the balconies. But it's nice (in my case) if hubby turns on a movie and then we decide to go somewhere on ship all he has to do is turn it off and then when he comes back to cabin it picks up where he ended it. Much better selection of movies also for no extra fee. The Crown Grill on Princess (IMO) is better than Celebrity's Specialty Restaurant and cheaper. Love, love, love the perks princess gives you when you are Elite. Free laundry!!!!! Bar set-up in your cabin. on a 14 day cruise you get 500 internet minutes. On the other hand I love that Celebrity is non smoking in casino. Princess is only 1/2 non-smoking which is a big improvement of RCL. We are Elite on both lines but Princess doesn't penalize you if you are a stock holder. They let you combine any and all obc. Also, if your X military Princess gives you obc for that. Enjoy whatever you choose.
