We need reliable, cost efficient, and best transportation from MCO to a Port Canaveral area clean and comfortable hotel, transportation to Port Canaveral and again back to MCO. Please advise as to transportation as well as reliably clean hotel options. Our cruise is in January, 2018.

Welcome to the boards! ;)

We prefer to stay in Orlando - lots of hotels near MCO that offer airport shuttles or head into town. Pre-cruise we usually rent a car one way (MCO to PC) allowing us to stay, dine and shop where we want - drop the car off the morning of your cruise in PC and use the agency's free shuttle to get to the port.

Post cruise, unless your flight leaves after about 1:30-2:00 I would not bother with a one-way rental; instead book a shared shuttle with CorTrans or Cocoa Beach Shuttle, who will get you from PC to MCO for about $20-25 per person. You can also use them to get from MCO to PC pre-cruise if you prefer not to drive.

If you have a big family or group travelling together check on private limo service.

Have a great cruise!

At least 4, as many as 14. We are traveling with others who may/may not stay at same place with us.

With a party of 4, I'd look at the cost of a one-way rental car for the airport to hotel and hotel to cruise terminal parts. There are several rental agencies in the port area with free shuttles to the cruise terminals. The car would give you freedom to eat and shop where you want the night before the cruise.

Consider the Residence Inn (Hertz is in their parking lot) for their true two-bedroom suites.

For the trip back to the airport after the cruise, I'd go with Cortrans Shuttle at $20 per person.
