will be doing one day pre cruise December 1 st would like a hotel with large pool complex possibly near beach that is not crazy priced. Would like to stay around 350.00 including all fees. Didn’t see anything in south beach what would be next closest area. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

If you are close to the beach then I would not worry so much about the pool. A place like Hyatt Centric South Beach with a decent pool and walk to the beach is great.

But if you need the large pool I would look at:

Sagamore

Shelborne South Beach

RIU Plaza (nice pool, not a great building older)

East Miami (has a nice pool, not near the beach)

Honestly, in Miami, there are not a ton of big big pools. The only one I can specifically think of is the Fountainbleau. Biltmore Hotel also has a big pool area. But I would say take a smaller pool across the street from the beach. Going on hotels.com showed plenty of places like the Victor for a decent price.

I was going to suggest the Fountainbleau too. I looked at staying there before our Christmas cruise, and the price I saw was $299 a night.

That's a really good price. I actually stayed there recently for a weekend "staycation" and loved it.

Its not cheap though, but is a fantastic resort.

Yes. We opted to stay at Hyatt Regency for pre-cruise, and will stay at Fountainbleau when we come down for a weekend trip - when we can enjoy more of the resort.
