Two hours later, I got an email from Windstar stating that any cruise 14 nights or longer would receive OBC. For 14 nights, it was $400pp. I was thrilled. I forwarded the email to my TA who contacted Windstar. They refused to add the OBC to my booking. I reread the email. I am confused. I have sailed with Windstar many times. On previous cruises when there were price decreases or bonus OBC, when my TA called, the booking was adjusted. The price policy states that adjustments will be made up until 7 days before sailing. Redtravel Posted October 6, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted October 6, 2017 Since final payment was due a week from now, my TA put through the entire payment. I am not sure if I can cancel and rebook. It doe say "new bookings only". However, when you book the same day that you get the email, most companies will honor the email offer. It just makes good sense. It also keeps customers happy.
