fourth of july question

I am on the carnival valor june 28.2009 psychic medium cruise. this cruise is at sea on the fourth of july and i wanna know if carnival does any type of fireworks?;)

I believe the answer is no. There was a post around last July 4th and that seemed to be the consensus.

Disney is the only ship that I know of that does fireworks. On Carnival, there is some pyrotechnics onboard but it is for the shows in the main lounge. Mostly flash bang type stuff.

my daughter met some boys on the ship who bought bottle rockets in port. they were shooting them off the back of the ship at night and got chased by security. thank god she didn't got caught

I was on the Miracle for the fourth of July in 2006, and there was very little celebration. Some guests wore hats and shirts with the flag, and I think the Maitre'd made a comment at dinner. Other than that, pretty low key.

I was on the Valor last fourth of July and they did nada. They turned the mexican night into the Indepedence celebration. Tacos for the fourth! What a disappointment.
