Hi Everyone,I usually set the treadmill to random level 14 with a starting speed of 4.2 then I do 2 minute intervals every 4 minutes between 6.5 and 8.5 for 20 to 30 minutes depending on if I am going to do the elliptical that day as well. Typically I burn between 450 and 700 calories each time.
Have I told you guys about the behind kicker treadmills at the gym? You can set them on something akin to walking straight uphill, like a mountain and go as fast as you want. Really burns the calories.
Thanks Diana. It's probably time to change things up I guess. My weight loss seems to have leveled out and it's rather depressing. I've always been of a mindset that it's better to go for a longer period of time at less intensity than to really push myself for less time. Maybe I'll do a little more experimenting! Thanks for your input.Try changing your time, speed and also incline. Up and down giving you a different routine every day.. Keep your routine fresh....
