Portofino v cinqueterre?

I am trying to decide between 2 different port excursions for our day in Genoa on our Med cruise in August. Princess offers a tour that includes Portofino, Santa Margherita and Rapallo or 1 that includes Manorola and Monterosso in the Cinque Terre. Both are same price and same length and both include transport by coach and boat. The pictures and descriptions of all the places look lovely so I would welcome any advice or suggestions.

We did the Portofino, Santa Margherita and Rapallo , small Group tour last year. Its was very good as we had a group of about twenty five and we moved around pretty easily. The tour was a bit more relaxed vs a sixty passenger bus. Beautiful towns with Rapallo being our favorite. I don't think you would regret taking either one. I know that's not much help but I am sure each one would show you some beautiful towns.

The Cinque Terre is overun with tourists in the season . i would go for Portofino and Santa Margherita Ligure and Rapallo are old style resort towns with real class where Italians gravitate to in hot weather to get away from Milano & Firenze .
