Coco Cay for a handicapped guest

Can anyone give me any idea of the walking distance to the public beach / lounge areas at Coco Cay? We have not reserved anything for our end of April sailing, and my husband has some mobility issues, difficulty walking long distances, particularly over sand. I don't know whether to cough up the bucks to reserve something or just hope for the best. Any thoughts?

thanks!!

First, there is no real need for a pricey cabana....there are PLENTY of loungers for everyone. The less crowded areas are further away, tho. They do have "trams" to help folks with walking issues get around. You aren't stuck there all day, either...you can come and go at will.

They do have "sand-chairs"...but it's just to transport you...you don't get to keep them and use them yourselves.
