Captain Beefheart Posted May 29, 2010 #1 Share Posted May 29, 2010 Hi all, has anybody recently used a roll away bed on the Oceana to allow a inside 2 berth wheelchair accessable cabin to take a 3rd person? Fiona.
kitty9 Posted May 30, 2010 #2 Share Posted May 30, 2010 Cruise lines, for the most part, will not allow more than two booked in an accessible cabin. You will need to call and find out if this can be done.
leoandhugh Posted May 30, 2010 #3 Share Posted May 30, 2010 And without knowing the actual cabin dimensions, it is probable that when the roll-away is in use, it would virtually preclude use of the wheelchair because of lack of turning space. I think you should check this very carefully with P&O before commiting yourself to reserving it:)

carlo56 Posted August 6, 2010 #5 Share Posted August 6, 2010 Fiona I do not believe it is possible to put extra beds in cabins, if the cabin is a 2 bed then the company are not allowed to add any extras. This is something to do with the ship safety certificate. For 3 people you would need to book a 3 bed cabin. I would suggest asking p and o if they have any 3 bed cabins instead? Best wishes C
