Nuremberg to departure port AMADante

We will be on the AMADante Main River cruise in April 2018. We choose to skip Prague the beginning point of the River Cruise as we had been there twice before. Instead we will spend 2 days in Nuremberg and will join the skip and other passengers outside of Nuremberg.

How far is it from the city center to where the ship will be? Has anyone made this transfer and if so how long a drive and how much was the cab?

We have several times taken a taxi from the central station in Nuremberg to the dock. 15-20 euro depending on trafiic.
