Queen Mary2 sheltered cabin grades

We booked a BZ cabin on the January cruise to Sydney and have been given a BY grade on deck 4. Will we notice any difference?

No difference between BZ and BY cabins in terms of size, layout, or features. The only real difference is the location. While BZ grade cabins are located far forward, BY cabins are located far aft. Your BY cabin will be more conveniently located to the Britannia Restaurant, Queens Room, and G32 while a BZ cabin is more conveniently located to the Royal Court Theatre, Illuminations, and Commodore Club for example.

In case of rough seas, your aft BY cabin is likely to experience less motion than a forward BZ cabin.

Regards, John
