It just depends on how much you drink and plan to spend. If you aren't planning to visit the spa and you aren't a big drinker, I would think you would be okay. I think sodas run about $2 (but you can bring your own onboard) and drink of the days cost about $7. I don't drink beer, so I'm not sure how much those cost. If you do a search, you should be able to find a drink menu.

$150/pp for an entire 7 day cruise is hard to fathom. I know there are some ppl that don't spend much of anything onboard but those are more of the exception than the rule. If you like to drink, $150 probably won't last you 2 days! If you plan to hit up the casino, $150 might not last 2 hours! :p If you like to shop, $150 won't last more than a day or two. If you like to play bingo, you might be able to stretch that for the entire 7 days but that depends on how much you like bingo. They play bingo ALOT on cruises so if you can't turn down a good bingo game $150/pp won't last more than maybe 4 days (depends on how many cards you get...they tend to go $20.00 for a three card set or $10.00 for one card). Of course there are jewelry sales, art auctions, wine-tastings, the specialty coffee shop with an assortment of delicious pastries, shore excursions that can be purchased for the ports, the gift shop and duty free liquor to purchase to take home, the steakhouse and/or the chef's table where you can purchase a gourmet meal aside from what you get in the dining room.

Basically, $150/pp for an entire 7 day cruise will last if you pretty much do nothing but free stuff on the cruise. There is plenty to eat and drink that comes with your cruise fare so you don't HAVE to spend a dime if you don't want to. It's all about your interests and spending habits. ;)

However, keep in mind that cruises are cashless. So anything, you might be tempted to purchase.....drinks, liquor, cigarettes, jewelry, bottle of win, pictures, video, bingo, casino, spa, gifts, art, and even some food items (milkshakes, steaks). Also if you do not prepay your gratutities it may be charged on your S and S. That being said I did it even on a 4 day with drinks and jewelry purchases from time to time. In part, because I had an onboard credit of $50 per person.

When we went on the Legend DBF kept his S/S account to under $100, which included part of the tips (we had a few $$ in OBC from a price drop.) He drinks only occasionally and never spends time in the casino or gift shop.

Mine was a different story. :(
