Silver Wind Captain

Is Michele Macarone Palmieri still captain of the Silver Wind? Does anyone know if he is likely to retire any time soon?

We haven't been on the Wind for some years but we've been on his ship(s) three times now and he really was the most interesting, helpful, well organized and polite person for that job that one could ever hope to meet. Maybe we should book again before he retires :)

Yes, he is on now and will be back after vacation. He will be aboard for the holidays.

Good to know- does that mean he'll be at the helm for cruise #2205 also? any scoop on how might be Maitre' D, or CD on this Feb cruise?
