Pompeii and a Cruise along the Amalfi Coast

Our boat arrives in Salerno at 7am and we depart at 6:30pm. We are 18 people in our group and want to do a private tour of Pompeii and a then board a boat and cruise along the Amalfi coast back to Salerno. I wanted to know if anyone knows of companies that offer this type of excursions.

We found 1 company that seems to offer this type of tour and they want almost 4000Euro for the day which doesn't include the admission tickets for Pompeii.

I also did a bit of research and found LiveSalerno which offers boat tours and for a group of 12 for the entire day it's 960Euro so that would mean 1920 Euro for our group (you only save 100 Euro if you book half day so 1720Euro). That means the company we had found is looking at charging us an additional 2000 euro to go Pompeii with a guide but not entrance fee?

Any tips or companies we should contact is greatly appreciated.

Do both companies include transportation from Salerno to Pompeii? I assume the prices include the guide. It is not unusual to quote prices without admission fees. Admission to Pompeii is 13 euros pp. You can factor that in to compare prices.

And where do you board the boat? The closest marina to Pompeii is the Marina di Stabia, but that means the boat goes around the entire peninsula. Do they drive you to Positano and board there? Do they drive you to Sorrento and board there and take you past Capri?
