Walking in St Marten

Usually when we get off the ship we go left outside of the gates and walk into town.

We have always wanted to go right to see what's there. Don't know if that's such a good idea after the hurricane.

Anyone walked that direction?

It’s an industrial/port area of the island. I wouldn’t recommend a walk there. It was not pretty before Irma hit. Now up in the hills, looking over St. Bart’s is a totally different thing altogether. The view is beautiful from the villas up there.

Can you walk there by going right? Thanks for your input so far.

I imagine that it’s possible but we only drove it. You walk past the cargo port and industry and then take a road up. I would not walk it myself as I would much rather spend my time walking a nice long beach.
