Will it be too strenuous Sent from my iPad using Forums It sounds like you are going to Lamanai. We went a few years ago and enjoyed it. It really depends on on your mobility and normal activity level. The main issues are being able to climb in / out of the bus and boat, walking on sometimes uneven ground and climbing some steps. Nothing major, as long as you don’t have knee / hip, balance or breathing issues with normal activities. We did not find it overly strenuous, but it is a long day. We took a bus, then a boat to the ruins, took the boat back to where we caught it, then lunch was served, then we took the bus back to port. Fergus Posted September 2, 2018 #3 Share Posted September 2, 2018 I haven't been to Lamanai, but have been to the other/smaller ruins closer to Belize City. My biggest recollection of that excursion was the absolutely crushing heat. You don't say when you're going, but take that into account. I believe we were there in the spring or early summer.
