Priceline- Galvenston Hotels

Thinking about trying Priceline for Galveston Hotel. They ask me to choose an "area in Galveston" for my search. My question is, what area(s) should I select? I assume I want to be next to terminal? Here are the choices:

Alvin, East Beach Area, Galveston-Offats Bay, La Marque, Texas City, Texas City Industrial Park, West Beach-Moody Gardens.

I was going to select a 3 star hotel.. Thank You!

Two hotels downtown near cruise terminal are Harbor House and the Tremont Hotel, Moody Gardens Hotel is at Moody Gardens on Offats Bayou, everthing else is on the Seawall. The island is only 2 miles wide at its widest.

Alvin, LaMarque, Texas City, etc are all on the Mainland and quite a distance.

I chose East Beach 3 star and got Four Points Sheraton for $85 on 2/3-2/5.

Inn at Waterpark across from Moody Gardens has cruise rates if you need to leave a car...
