Just saw a news article here about Viking doing river cruises in USA.

There is a spa on board the Star mentioned with , for me, a new detail.

That's odd, it's one of the first things I noticed when I was reading about the ship back in 2013... They have a rendering of it in the slide show and in the original movie. It looks wonderful.

I'm wondering how they will control admission. Can anyone go in anytime for free, or will there be a charge, or can you only use it if you're going to the spa? Obviously 900 people can't be in there at the same time, so wondering how they will control access. There's also supposed to be a small pool and hot tub as well as a sauna in the spa area. This could be my favorite part of the ship!

My bet - access=spa appt.

And yes, looks like a great way to spend some time on a sea day......in spite of my missing the snow initially. 😂.
