rgastin Posted January 28, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 28, 2015 We will be doing a FP cruise in April. I am wondering if anyone has purchased wine prior to getting on their ship. We will boarding in Papeete and will be visiting Moorea, Bora Bora, Rangiroa, Raitea, Fakarava and Easter Island. We don't want to carry wine on the plane with us for weight reasons as well as space but would like to buy some on land if possible. Does anyone have any experience doing this and if so, where? What price range would they be?

If you buy DF alcohol in the ports, this will be held by the ship & returned to you on day of debarkation. They want you to buy the exxy drinks onboard! Spikesgirl Posted January 30, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 30, 2015 For what it's worth, we haven't brought wine on board (we carry it in our luggage), but when we were in Huahine two years ago, we picked up two bottles of Grand Marnier Cream at a local grocery store and had no trouble bringing it on board. We let them scan it as we re-boarded and except for a request for a taste, no one said anything to us and we took it took our cabin (and later shared). rgastin Posted January 31, 2015 Author #4 Share Posted January 31, 2015 Yes, I know a lot of cruises will take it away, but we're on Oceania and they allow people to bring it on board.
