Tipping on Cunard

Just a curious question. Some cruise lines allow passengers to cancel standard tipping and make own arrangements. Some won't allow and others are adopting ever different policies. What is the situation with Cunard?

With sister companies of Carnival such as Princess and P&O and presumably Carnival themselves they allow passengers to cancel tips, remain and even increase, tip individuals etc.

Cunard will charge you on the next day ,you may then remove it or leave it on, entirely up to you what you wish to do.

All charges for tipping/gratuities with Cunard are removable when onboard. Just see the reception staff and fill out the form .Usually available from the second day of the Cruise. Haven't found a cruise line yet that wont remove gratuities although some may try to give you a hard time.

Unfortunately your stuck with all the 15% tips applied to all drinks etc, plus the additional 10% Tax added to drinks/sales when in Spanish ports of call.

MY ADVICE ALSO - NEVER PAY TIPS IN ADVANCE , what if you miss the ship or need to change the Cruise, just another headache you would not want trying to get them back!
