Tampa Restaurant

Can anyone suggest a nice restaurant conveniently located between the hotels where we can meet for a pre-cruise dinner. Some of us are staying at the Sailport and others are at the Hyatt. We'd like something as close to all of us as possible. Any suggestions?

Which Hyatt? There's one downtown and one close to the Sailport on the Causeway. Close to Sailport is "Bahama Breeze" - super food, great location on the bay, very yuppie and noisy. Ask for a table at the back (quieter), I would recommend this restaurant!

Came across your post and am happy to hear the recommendation. I recently moved to Palm Harbor, but seem to find myself on the Tampa side of the causeway quite often. I've tried Castaway, Landry's and Oyster Catcher's. Not too thrilled with any of them. Next time I'll give Bahama Breeze a go.

Try Timpanos in Old Hyde Park Village. Hyatt Hotel Shuttle can take you there and pick you up. It is an Italian Chop House, just opened.
