jnv Posted January 13, 2009 #1 Share Posted January 13, 2009 has anyone had one of these rooms, specifically 8237, and if so is the room quite a bit larger than a standard balcony room, and how much room is on the balcony?(enough for four chairs?) Also do you know if the Spirit has washer/dryers, and if so where are they located? Any other info on the Spirit would be appreciated.
CWcruisers Posted January 13, 2009 #2 Share Posted January 13, 2009 I have seen a Cat 9A and it is larger than a standard cabin. It's a square room. The balcony is deeper and wider and you should be able to fit 4 chairs with no problem, although they may only have two on the balcony which is standard except for the aft wraps. Friend of mine had one (not your specific one) and reported no noise from the elevator. If you google Carnival Spirit cabin 8237, you may find pictures someone has posted. I do know the Spirit has laundry rooms, but I am not sure where they are as I am a platinum cruiser and get free laundry. Go to carnival.com and check out the deck plans. brodie Posted January 13, 2009 #3 Share Posted January 13, 2009 I know on deck 5 that they were in the very back of the ship near the aft wraps. Hope this helps.
10XCruiser Posted January 14, 2009 #4 Share Posted January 14, 2009 I have been upgraded to this cabin for a May 27 Alaska sailing. I am looking forward to the extra space both in and out!
