Galveston Hotels?

:) Any suggestions for Galveston one night prior to xmas holiday cruise?

We just got back from our cruise. We stayed at the Harbor House. Parking was $20.00 for the week and we could walk to the terminal. I booked with them directly.

I booked the Harbor House for our Christmas cruise. They are next door to the terminal and there are lots of shops and restaurants nearby. I booked through their webiste on Galveston.com for $89.00 a night. I have heard it fills up pretty fast and you need to book early as well to receive a good price. I think the rooms can go up to $130.00 a night.
