thied Posted August 25, 2011 #2 Share Posted August 25, 2011 The pair of 1920 trams - a W2 and a X-1 Class - will run along a 1.5km loop at Wynyard Quarter. 1.5km circuit around the Wynyard Quarter. For $10 you can take a 1.5km journey in a heritage tram at Auckland's Wynyard Quarter and will run in a 15-minute clockwise circuit along Jellico, Halsey, Gaunt and Daldy Streets during the tournament. Final costs for the privately funded heritage tram project at Wynyard Quarter are around $7.4 million.

thied Posted August 25, 2011 #4 Share Posted August 25, 2011 Should have never removed the trolley buses and lines that were in place in 70s They did the same in Brisbane years and years agowith the trams, and pulled up the train lines from Brisbane to the gold coast and sold off all the land years and years ago, Then they decided to rebuild the line at a huge cost.
