Sun Princess Dining Times?

Recommended Posts

We have friends joining Sun Princess for its Top End cruise next week.

They have been told that the time for second sitting at dinner is 9pm.

Is this true?

Its sounds very late to me.

Also, do they have Anytime Dining yet?

David, we havent been on the Sun for awhile but on the Dawn 1st sitting is at 5.30pm so i'd say 2nd would be 7.30pm and they dont have anytime dining

I checked the booking summary for our December 2011 cruise on Sun Princess.

The second sitting is 7.45 pm. Alas, anytime dining is not offered.

Keeping to the subject of dining, can anyone tell me if the Sun Princess has adopted the civilised practice of waiters serving tea, coffee and juice to the table at the breakfast buffet?

Cheers, Ann

Yes Ann when we were on Sun Princess back in April they offered this service...and I think it's such a nice touch, makes dining at the buffet very pleasant.

I think it depends on how busy the breakfast buffet is (But I am use to getting my own juice), and if your dinner waiter is doing breakfast as well, as they soon learn what you like :)

We have booked the Sun Princess for next Feb and it is still only traditional dining. The times we were offered were 5.30 or 8 pm. (It may have been 8.30, but it was definitely 8 something.)
I think Sandielle is correct, as when we where on the Sun Princess in October 2010, they had a 5.30 & a 8 pm setting, With no anytime Dining.

If they've changed it next year then it'll be 8 or after.

I've been on Sun Princess a few times in the last 2 years and always done second dining at 7:45, and also have a Nov booking that states 7:45 as the time in the cruise personalizer.
