Tremont and Galvez in Galveston?

Is either or both of these hotels located within walking distance of a supermarket or liquor store? I'd like to buy my wine prior to sailing instead of lugging it on the airplane!

There's a liquor store around the corner from The Tremont. I'm not aware of any liquor stores or grocery stores within walking distance of The Galvez.

We are staying at Bestwestern Beachfront and they told me there is a store right next door in case we forgot anything, but sorry to say, I can't remember what kind of store or if they have wine?

The store around from the Tremont sells wine and beer. From the Galvez, about 2 short blocks up the Seawall, and about 1 block down on 23rd is Economy Liquor, they have all adult beverages and an excellent wine selection.

Across the street from the Best Western, is a Kroger Foods with wine/beer and all the supplies you probably forgot.
