Place to stay in Jasper????

WE' ve changed our plans and are going up to Jasper in July.PLEASE advise any good spots to stay, preferrably with a mountain view! THANKS

I stayed at the Park Place Inn downtown Jasper, and while you had to go outside for a mountain view, the rooms certainly were among the best I've ever had the opportunity to stay in.

At 14 rooms, its not the Hilton, but what rooms! Many have a fireplace, room 5 is beyond description with a huge soaker tub and a fireplace. The website is here: http://www.parkplaceinn.com/ and the staff were extremely friendly.

An alternative is the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, we walked through the property, and while many rooms would have mountain views, it was nowhere near as nice as the Park Place, and was twice the price.

Have a look at the website, and book early to avoid disappointment.

Thanks Dennis and Mac Pete! The Park Place Inn looks amazing, will see if we can book. Was also looking at The Astoria any knowledge re. this one? Also so much to see in Jasper. Any advice re. sights Karen.
