JJean Posted June 9, 2015 #1 Share Posted June 9, 2015 We were on the Passage Through Western Europe May 1. We had a big problem with our onboard credit, so while on board I emailed Viking. It said they would reply with 2 days, never heard from them. After we got home I emailed a letter to 2 different emails going over the problems we encountered on the ship and also what was great. The automated response said they would respond within 8 days, it has been 3 weeks. I also mailed a copy. We have also been on a Viking River cruise and loved it. However after all the problems we have encountered and Viking's lack of any response, we will definitely go with a high end proven company if we chose to spend so much money on a cruise. southsusie Posted June 14, 2015 #2 Share Posted June 14, 2015 JJean, I can certainly understand why you posted and I'm sure I would be frustrated too! Almost every company's success hinges on their customer service level. I would suggest calling until you get a satisfactory answer because sometimes it's too easy for someone to ignore an email or letter and hope it just goes away. Please post again and let us know if your concerns were ever resolved.
