Transatlantic with Parkinson's?

Rigidity is main issue...difficult to get in or out of furniture, bed, toilet! Do normal cabins on Royal Princess all have grab bars in bathrooms? TIA for all tips!

There are companies that will arrange for special equipment to be waiting in your cabin/suite. These include lift-assist chairs, hospital beds, wheelchairs, scooters, etc.

Check with the cruise line about grab bars. You might need a "handicapped" cabin/suite for exactly these purposes.

And ask the cruise line which company they work with for any special equipment to be waiting for you.

Also consider having a wheelchair, even if not usually needed... in case of rough seas. It can be difficult enough for anyone to navigate under some conditions; it probably wouldn't be wise for someone like you describe to be wandering around should those conditions arise.

Good luck, and enjoy!
