Sending email to passengers on Princess ships???

I know this topic was addressed in the past but I can't find the posts and being that we are leaving early on Sat. morning I wanted to add the email address to the info we are leaving with family/friends.

Any help would be greatly appreciated we are sailing on the Caribbean Princess.

According to everything that I've read on the subject your email address would be:

caribbeanprincess@princess.com

And then on the subject line (very important):

your cabin # and your name.

I hope that helps. I plan on leaving the email address with my family in case there's an emergency when I sail on the Sun Princees next month.

While that has always been true for me on other Princess ships, I was on the inaugural of the Diamond and NONE of the emails sent to the address format you mentioned got through to me... I hope it was just a glitch because it was the first voyage -- but I suppose the possibility exists that they are phasing out this option, now that people have access to their email at the internet cafes. Let's hope not.

The e-mail for the ships are *******princess@princesscruises.com

YOu just have to fill in the name of the ship like Star, Diamond, Dawn etc.

The Diamond isn't the only NEW ship that doesn't receive e-mails using the above mentioned format. The Coral had the same problem.

MARK D: because you are only on the 3rd sailing, I wouldn't count on it getting to you. Sign-up for a Hotmail or Yahoo e-mail account and use the internet Cafe to check/send messages on your e-mail.

While we were on the Star Princess last October we received several emails from family. You do address it as Starprincess@princesscruises.com. In the subject you put your name and cabin number. It was really nice. We would find our email in our mailbox outside our door every evening.
