we have booked a tour with myfriendmario and he mentions going down the steps to get to our meeting place. When we were here in 2004, I don't recall steps but we did a ship tour. I have a vague memory of seeing an overhead walkway/bridge with people passing on it but when we met our ship tour I do not recall using it.

I also just Booked with Mario for a Tour on 2/23/07 off the Legend. He sent an EMail CONFIRMATION with 2 Attachments. Did you get / open them ?

One is a Logo of the Almiza Tours Co. sign he will have ; the second is a colored MAP showing exactly where the ships dock and where to meet him.

I have never been there either, but I hope this helps !

dlhamlten--we're booked with Mario on our 3/8/07 Carnival Legend cruise.

any comments on how your tour with Mario went?

any problem with time getting back to the ship?

His website says $15 additional per person, for "flight" return to ship after his tour, arrives at 3:20 instead of 4:00 by minibus. we would be less nervous if we paid the extra and got back to port a little before departure time.

thanks
