Tips on Pisa Airport to Livorno transfers and sightseeing in Livorno

If you are sailing from Livorno, Italy and flying into Pisa and have made your own travel arrangements to get to the boat, then i strongly suggest that you take a look at catching the 101 Bus from the airport, which will take you to the gates of the cruise terminal area (you need to get of the bus at the Stazione Marittima stop). The cost is 2.50 Euros (taxis are 50 Euros plus), the journey takes 45 mins and there is only a 300yard walk to the cruise terminal from the gates. More info can be found on http://www.pisa-airport.com/aeroporto_di_pisa_195.html and http://www.atl.livorno.it/avvisi/pisa%20aeroporto%20cisanello.pdf. If you have any questions regarding transfers to Livorno, or sightseeing trips in Livorno, i highly recommend that you contact Sarah Thompson at http://livornonow.com/node (her email address is at the bottom of the Homepage). Sarah was absolutely brilliant in providing all the transfer info i requested for my MSC cruise on the 17/10/09
